MEDICAL SCRIBING 

                           A medical scribe is someone who collaborates with medical professionals to record patient contacts. For the healthcare professional, they serve as an extra set of hands, freeing them up to concentrate completely on patient care. The responsibilities of a medical scribe include entering patient data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), compiling patient data (such as vital signs and medical history), and getting lab test results. A medical scribe might also help with simple procedures like blood sampling and be in charge of making sure that patient data in the EMR is accurate.

A medical scribe is a person who has received special training to record a doctor's visit in real time by adding notes to the patient's electronic health record (EHR). Scribes collaborate closely with doctors to record patient encounters, freeing the doctor up to give patients their full attention. In addition, a scribe may prepare patient charts, retrieve patient records, and schedule follow-up appointments.
